Summer, the way it's meant to be

Self-directed fun, friendship, and discovery in a supportive, mixed-age environment. Open to kids ages 5–15.

What Makes our Summer Program Different

At The Village Electric, summer feels like freedom. Our program offers the same self-directed approach we use during the school year, with a mix of structured activities and spontaneous fun. Every day is different—because our kids help shape it.

Kids can:

🎨 Make art in our studio

🔨 Tinker in the maker space

🧩 Build with LEGO and tech

🌳 Explore nature and outdoor play areas

📚 Read, write, or relax in quiet nooks

🤹 Join optional classes (like LEGO, poetry, science, and juggling)

🎲 Play games, socialize, or just be

Our Staff

When kids feel trusted and believed in, they do amazing things. Our staff knows when to step in, when to step back, and how to create a space where kids feel truly seen, supported, and free to be themselves.
